Here are your fellow Tigers making headlines this month.
USN Alumni Board member Piper Jones '08 made her debut on American Idol. She made it past the Nashville auditions and is coming back for "Hollywood Week." Watch for her next appearance in mid-February.

USN Alumni Board member Jennifer Mathews Smith '78 recently wrote an op-ed about the Nashville Tree Project for The Tennessean.

WNBA's Seattle Storm promoted Distinguished Alumna Jenny Boucek '92 to Head Coach. Read all about it in this New York Times article.

William Tyler '98 is opening for Loretta Lynn and Jack White at Bridgestone Arena this week. Next month, William is part of an All-Star Alumni Band opening for Dierks Bentley at USN's "Centennial Jam" Music Night. He also scored Orson Welles's 1938 film Too Much Johnson and will perform it at the Belcourt Theater.

Mclaine Richardson '04 and her designs for Margaret Ellis Studio were featured in the December issue of Nashville Arts Magazine.

Page "Ceep" Krugman '06 competed on Jeopardy.
