December's Alumni Annual Fund Update
The end of the calendar year is quickly upon us. Curious about which classes are winning participation in giving to USN's Annual Fund?
As 2013 comes to a close, I have had the pleasure of being in touch with 40 classes of PDS/USN from the 60’s,70’s, 80’s, 90’s, and 00’s. Our alumni live near and far, and all have fascinating stories to tell. So many of us started here on Edgehill with an educational and social experience like no other.
Today USN remains on the cutting edge of educational opportunities, and our students are working diligently on environmental and community issues. PDS/USN continues to be a school you can be proud of as we strive to find and reward excellent teachers, enjoy a widely diverse student body, and enrich our athletic and performing arts programs.
Alumni participation in the Annual Fund is vital to the school we all know and love. You can give to this year’s campaign until June 30, 2014, though keep in mind that a gift by December 31 brings year-end tax benefits.
I would like to thank all of the class agents for their efforts in the first 6 months of this year. I am pleased to announce that Kim Sandler Rhodes ’01, Chris Kuzur '01, Sarah Shainberg Hornick ’90, and Julie Moodie Covington’ 90, and Caitlin Del Casino '08 have graciously added the role of class agent to their busy schedules.
Kudos to the following classes and class agents: Shannon Paty ’68, David Steine ’68, Judy Lawrence ’68, Celeste Snow Shepherd ’88, Dan May ’07, Amy McElroy ’07 and Emily Strupp ’07. You are in first, second and third place for participation to date.
Class of 1968: 39.13%
Class of 1988: 23.64%
Class of 2007: 19.05%
