Merle Hazard, aka Jon Shayne '80, had his new video for the song, "The Great Unwind," premiere on PBS's Newshour. MS Theatre Teacher Bakari King sings back-up in the clip.

William Tyler '98 was interviewed for Marcel Music Journal. William was also featured on NPR's Weekend Edition and interviewed Chef Josh Habiger of Ben Goldberg '98 and Max Goldberg '01's restaurant, The Catbird Seat, for the Repeater blog.

Daniel Chazin '04 and his band Cave Clove went on a tour of the Pacific Northwest.

Stephen Knight '84 and his family were chosen to star on a reality show featuring Kpop super fans called My Kpop.

Ben Bredesen '98 and his Fat Bottom Brewery were featured on 365Nashville.

Mike Shmerling '73 was in the Nashville Post for working with a company to launch an exchange-traded fund that focuses on Nashville-based companies.

Elise Tyler '02 talks about her favorite Nashville places in this My Town: Nashville blog.

Adam Fagen '89 is in the news for announcing the first study to sequence and analyze the entire genome of a HeLa cell line published by a scientific journal of the Genetic Society of America.

Mary Allen '09 has a showcase and CD release of "Paper Dolls" at The Listening Room Cafe on August 22 at 8 PM. Mary will have a six piece band playing with her featuring Justin Carey from Sixpence None The Richer and Sam Levine.

Markham Shofner '07 sported the #90 for the inaugural season of Washington DC's professional Ultimate team DC Current.

Amy Kurland '73 brings The Bluebird Cafe to Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory for a special concert series.

Eliot Linton '11 promises "dazzling pictures, harrowing adventures, and tales so unworldly you will doubt my honest chronicling," on his blog detailing his experiences in Madagascar. 

Grace Kilman '06 and the group she performs with, 3 Penny Chorus and Orchestra, are contestants on America's Got Talent.

Rick Ewing '83 and his family are featured in an article in the New York Times about autism research.
