Tom, I'm going to miss having you at USN too and know if you're behind it the business will be a huge success. I'm going to introduce it to London so plan a trip and you can market it as another Nashville export like the country music they love here!

OK - so, pimento cheese does not currently appear on my grocery list, nor is it sold in Belgian food stores. Don't really know if my palate is ready for it, but if you have a website and international deliveries, I promise to order some, love it and introduce this Tennessee delicacy to my kids and friends. Sorry to see you go, Tom, but best of luck in your new venture. March 18-19, 2014. Those are the dates for the World Championship Cheese Contest in Madison, WI. They have a spreadable cheeses category. Are you going to enter? I don't live too far from Madison so I hope to see you there.

Sorry to see you go, Tom. I'll miss seeing a familiar name on all of the alumni correspondence! Bravo for being brave enough to pursue a passionate endeavor. I'll have to ask my sister to seek out some PBSPC to send to me, and I will definitely pass the word to all of the rest of my family still in Nash-Vegas to try it.

Thomas--Count me among those who never liked pimento cheese, until I tried PB's. I can't thank you enough for helping us pull the Class of '61 back together. Your presence at the Alumni Board meetings made them truly enjoyable. I'm glad this is not goodbye, but just "see you later in another venue."

We will miss you around here but your pimento cheese biscuits are addictive! Good luck to you! I am glad we got a chance to reconnect. Thanks for all your hard work to our school!

Tom, I am sad to see you go. Even with the excitement of the new venture, I imagine you are sorry to say goodbye, too. My guess is that there will be many excellent candidates who will want to take up this position because you have filled it so well. Not only have you made tremendous progress in alumni relations, but you have made it look like a lot of fun. (I am sure there were moments that were not fun, but those of us on this end were never aware of them.) Lots of people would like to have a job like this. Let's hope one of them can be found who can do it as well or nearly so.

Only an alum from the Class of '85 would have the courage to attempt to corner the pimento cheese market. We will miss you Tom, but this is a noble cause indeed. USN will not be the same without you at your desk!

USN's loss is the food world's gain. Professor Bailey's pimento cheese is so good that I am introducing it in Missoula, Montana where they have never even heard of pimento cheese. Tom and I will be rich!

HOLY CRAP, THAT IS SOME GOOD PIMENTO CHEESE!!!!!

Our loss at USN/PDS is a "gain" for the world of Pimento Cheese and our waistlines! I know first hand it is delicious and has "zip." So, Tom Bailey, in spite of the vow from 1963, we are going to have to let you go on into a culinary adventure, and Reunions will continue with your spirit hovering over us. Thank YOU.

I am sure that the legendary status of the Class of 1985 will continue without your constant tending as all good and true things do, but it will be a bummer to receive alumni correspondence without thinking of you on the other end, personally sending out all the love and warmth to us, individually. I expect to show up in Nashville with some regularity over the summer and will be counting on you for entertainment as well as pimento cheese and biscuits. Well done, Thomas. See you soon!

I have had the great privilege of tasting Professor Bailey's Spicy Pimento Cheese; and my only regret is that I live so far from Nashville and can only sate my craving but twice a year. Pitifully, I have yet to take my first needed taste of Professor Bailey's Spicy Pimento Cheese. But with exceeding confidence in the person of young Tom Bailey and his great taste in clothes, I highly recommend we favour this cheese as the standard in Pimento cheese. Do well, Professor!
