Third Annual Meeting of the National Alumni Board of Visitors

Members of the this group came to USN from all corners of the country on November 11 and 12.
Created to help USN better serve its far-flung PDS and USN alumni population, the National Alumni Board of Visitors provides USN with insights on the school's programs during the annual meeting and also acts as a central point of contact between the school and alumni population centers around the country.

The meeting kicked off with a dinner in the Sperling Center where members of the Board of Trustees, Alumni Board, and USN Faculty Department Chairs welcomed the visiting alumni (a full list of the attending members is below).

On Monday, the NABV heard USN Director Vincent Durnan and Board of Trustees President Gail Carr Williams discuss the state of the school today and opportunities for the future; got a broad look at our Admissions and College Counseling programs, and asked panel of current students questions about school life today. The students on the panel were Zara Corzine, Mallory Leeper, Malcolm Moutenot, and Nick Williams, all Class of 2013. As in previous years, the exchange between students and alumni was particularly lively.  The meeting closed with general discussion about USN and the NABV’s role.

A special note of thanks goes to NABV member Liz Werthan, who donated two of the historic Peabody Demonstration School plates.
