Each year, over 1,000 Nashvillians take advantage of USN's Evening Classes. Alumni make up a significant number of instructors each year. Find out what they are teaching and sign up for a class.
Celebrating its 20
th year, USN’s Evening Classes is run by the University School of Nashville Association (USNA), the school's volunteer organization. All proceeds benefit need-based scholarships for USN students, and all classes are led by volunteer instructors.
Among the dozens of instructors are many USN alumni. Among the alumni led classes that have already happened are: Android Tips and Tricks with Andrew Tiller '10, Tea Time with Ellen Haber '00 hosted, Poems of Place with Freya Sachs '00, Smartphone App Creation for Non-Programmers with Russell Ries '02, Classic Cocktail and Spirits Tasting with Chris Chamberlain '85, and Easy Home Repairs with Erik Mash '93.

Along with alumni, many current faculty and staff are teaching classes. Faculty instructors include (among others) Janet Schneider who will guide you through the
Basics of Canning (2/4) and Beth Thornburg (with Joyce Johnson) who will
