Three University School of Nashville High School students have been selected to participate in the All-State Orchestra taking place this weekend at the Tennessee Music Educator Association's annual conference and festival at Opryland Hotel.
After auditions in December, violinists Jason Kuchtey '20 and Sheeline Yu '21, and cellist Amanda Ding '21 were selected to join the other highest scoring instrumentalists from regions across Tennessee in the four-day event, which will culminate in a concert Saturday, April 13 featuring among other works, Dmitri Shostakovich's “Festive Overture” and Ottorino Respighi's “Pines of Rome.”
Please join us in congratulating these three members of USN's Chamber Ensemble on their impressive accomplishment.
